Update on the RB challenge

The Ray Bradbury challenge, to read 1000 short stories, poems, and essays, continues. You can follow me here: . Life happens, so I’m not achieving 1000 consecutive nights of this challenge (and I often do my reading in the morning rather than night time anyway), but it’s a great challenge, and I’m becoming exposed to authors I wouldn’t have found otherwise.

The other part of Ray Bradbury’s challenge is to write a short story every week for 52 consecutive weeks, as he said it’s impossible to write 52 bad stories in a row. I haven’t been doing this as I’ve been writing other things, and doing a lot of editing. But I will start this soon.

Re-starting the Ray Bradbury challenge

A few years ago I had the crazy idea to do Ray Bradbury’s challenge, which is to read a story, a poem, and an essay every day for 1000 days. It was fun and I learned a lot while it lasted, but I found I couldn’t continue when I took on the role of my mother’s carer. She died the following year, and I had no energy for anything for a time. I’m back on my feet now, however, so I’m starting again. You can follow me by clicking on this link.
